2024, the new year of Blue Dragon, has started with many people looking forward to various special events. There are many coming technical advances and literary developments around the world. While we can look for them anytime just by searching the internet and observe them when we have opportunities, certain events are only sometimes possible. For example, some magnificent and famous events to expect are the astrological observations in 2024. From January to December, there are 30 major astronomical observations around the world. #1  January 3rd – 4th: QUADRANTIDS METEOR SHOWER

Let us start with the Quadrantids meteor shower. With 60 to 200 meteors per hour pouring from its peak, this event is considered one of the most recorded meteor showers of the year. The Quadrantids are also known for being one of the brightest balls of fire in all meteors.

#2  April 8th: TOTAL SOLAR ECLIPSE

One of the most anticipated total solar eclipses will take place on April 8th this year. The moon will pass in front of the sun and block all direct sunlight, resulting in darkness during the day, while only the corona from the sun can be seen. Mexico (including the states of Sinaloa, Durango, and Coahuila), the United States (including Arkansas, Missouri, Illinois, Kentucky, Ohio, and New York), and Canada (including areas like southern Ontario and parts of southern Quebec) will be the three lucky countries to observe the solar eclipse or at least the partial solar eclipse. It is the first total eclipse to be seen in Canada since Feb. 26, 1979; in Mexico since July 11, 1991; and in the United States since Aug. 21, 2017.

#4 September 8th: SATURN AT OPPOSITION

The biggest planet of the solar system, Saturn, will reach opposition on September 8th, which also means that Saturn will be located at the opposite of the sun. As a result, Earth will be directly between Saturn and the sun, and the biggest beauty of Saturn will be observable from Earth’s surface.
